ICDAR 2015: Location change
13th IAPR International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition August 23-26, 2015, Nancy, France http://2015.icdar.org/
Following the latest security issues of participants in Tunisia and the results of the survey, the organizing committee decided to relocate ICDAR in the same dates in Nancy, France. Nancy is a great city in the East of France, at 300 km from Paris and 150 km from Strasbourg.
The conference will be held at the convention center “Prouvé” in the city center, close to the train station. We deeply thank the University of Lorraine and LORIA research laboratory for their valuable local support.
More details will be soon available at the website.
GREC 2015: Information
Eleventh IAPR International Workshop on Graphics Recognition - GREC 2015
GREC 2015 will follow the new ICDAR location, Nancy. Please update your travel plans accordingly.
Important Dates - Workshop: 22-23 August 2015. - Post-proceedings submission: November 2015.
The GREC workshops provide an excellent opportunity for researchers and practitioners at all levels of experience to meet colleagues and to share new ideas and knowledge about graphics recognition methods. The workshops enjoy strong participation from researchers in both industry and academia.
We present the Engineering Drawing Challenge in the framework of the GREC'15.
This is a totally open challenge, in which the participants are encouraged to present innovative ideas and methods related to automatic engineering drawing interpretation. The ultimate goal is to foster creativity and give more visibility to the presented proposals while collaborating on enriching the state-of-the-art in the field.
Please be aware that the GREC Workshop has a unique acceptance and publishing policy. In order to foster highly interactive and creative interactions, papers are selected and accepted after a summary review, ensuring that presented papers are within the topics of the event.
After the workshop, authors have the opportunity to submit an extended and revised paper for full single-blind review and subsequent publication. Acceptance for presentation at the workshop does not guarantee acceptance and publication in the post-proceedings.
We would like to remind you that the TC10 and TC11 Web sites always welcome contributions of new datasets or other resources related to the community. We would like to encourage all the TC10 and TC11 members to submit such material to the TC10 and TC11 for archiving. The availability of datasets, ground truth and performance evaluation tools online is not only good practice, but also a requirement for a field to progress.
We would like make a special request to the organizers of recent and future competitions. Independently of whether you have the competition datasets and evaluation tools available through other Web sites, please consider archiving them with TC10 / TC11 as well. Web sites often go off-line and useful resources are frequently lost forever.
